Season Ticket Renewal FAQs 2021/22

A season ticket mailing will be sent to all season ticket holders. This should arrive with you in April. Please make sure your email and postal address details are up to date by logging in and fully updating all your details online. Go to login.brightonandhovealbion.com and login using your email and password, then click your name in the top right corner. Alternatively call Supporter Services on 01273 668855. If an old address was registered, please ensure you arrange for your post to be forwarded to you.

You will also be able to set up a DD when renewing online at brightonandhovealbion.com/renew.

The ticketing system should pick up everyone that is changing age band; however, this only works when we have an accurate date of birth for supporters. Please call supporter services to confirm your date of birth and all other personal details are correct. Age details can be found in your renewal documents.

Due to supporters not being sat in their seats for the 20/21 season we are not offering a move window this season.

Your renewal pack will include information on how to apply for a 'priority' move. The family area is exclusively for families, with no more than two adults permitted to accompany any one U18.

Go to brightonandhovealbion.com/renew and follow instructions for cancellation. To cancel your season ticket please note an online survey must be completed in full by 5pm on Thursday 29th April and you will need your login details to complete this process. Cancellations will not be accepted in any other way.

As it stands season tickets have sold out. Therefore supporters wanting a season ticket will need to have joined the MyAlbion+ membership in order to qualify for the priority waiting list. In the event extra seats are released for sale they will be sold to those on the waiting list first and if you are offered a seat we can try to find you a seat closest to your group. If you have not joined MyAlbion+ you can visit tickets.brightonandhovealbion.com and register your interest in becoming a season ticket holder. Subject to availability.

Season ticket holders can upgrade tickets for up to six matches in any one season. All upgrades will be charged at the price of the match ticket minus the pro rata value of the season ticket, rounded up to the nearest pound. Please note once six upgrades have been reached, no more upgrades can be processed; however, you may then wish to list the seat on the ticket exchange.

You must first renew your season ticket for 2021/22, then complete and submit a 'medical moves' form no later than 5pm on Thursday 29th April. A member of the team will then contact you and discuss your move. To obtain a form please visit brightonandhovealbion.com/renew.

If you login to your account at tickets.brightonandhovealbion.com you will be able to find your credit balance by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the ticket page. This will load a page which shows what your balance is. Your credit balance will also be detailed on your season ticket renewal documents.

To be part of the season ticket waiting list, you must be a MyAlbion+ member and at the time of joining you will be given the option to join the waiting list. Membership must be renewed prior to 22nd May each season in order to maintain your position or move up the list. If a supporter wishes to be adjacent to another supporter on the waiting list, they must apply for a MyAlbion+ membership at the same time. Only one seat will be granted to each person on the waiting list. Therefore, a MyAlbion+ membership must be purchased for each supporter wishing to be on the waiting list for a season ticket.

If season tickets become available in the Family Stand, these will only be offered to MyAlbion+ members who are accompanying MyAlbion+ Junior members. In the event a season ticket is made available and offered to you this will be for the limited choice of locations the club has at the time. If you choose to reject the seat available you may maintain your position on the waiting list. However, once a seat offer is rejected twice you will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.

Please note, that in the event a season ticket is offered to you, you will only be given one opportunity to buy in any given season.

Once renewals are completed at the end of April the club will know how many season tickets should be released to the waiting list. Supporters on the waiting list have been given a numerical position (based on the date and time they joined the list) and any season tickets released will be allocated to those on the top of the list first. The release of season tickets to the waiting list will be published on brightonandhovealbion.com and emailed out to qualifying supporters in May. Please ensure your contact details are up to date to make sure you do not miss out.

Following a very unusual season we are permitting supporters to change the names on season tickets and take over a season ticket holder's seat. Please note this opportunity is for the 21/22 season only and will not be offered for future seasons.

The following steps must be completed:

  • 1 The season ticket holder must login online to tickets.brightonandhovealbion.com and complete the online cancellation before 5pm on Thursday 29 April.
  • 2 When completing the online cancellation survey, the current STH must indicate the seat is to be 'taken over' and provide the fan number, name and email of the person taking over the seat.
  • 3 The person taking over the seat must be a 20/21 MyAlbion+ member or a renewed season ticket holder. If none of these then a £20 takeover fee will be charged to the new occupant.
  • 4 The new occupant will be emailed with the reserved season ticket information and will be prompted to login and purchase the season ticket online, which must be done no later than 5pm on Thursday 6 May.
  • 5 Please note the club accepts no liability if incorrect details are provided for the new occupant, if the new occupants email address is incorrect or if the purchase is not completed by the required date.

Following successful trials in 2020, all season tickets for the 21/22 season will be issued as mobile tickets. This is for security and safety reasons. The mobile ticket will work whether you have a phone with an NFC chip or not, as the ticket will work by either scanning the chip in the phone OR by scanning a barcode that is displayed. For extra security the barcode changes every 20 seconds so photos of the ticket will not work. If you do not have a smart phone please contact Supporter Services in June. STHs are reminded that photo ID must be shown every matchday, confirming the named attendee matches the name on the season ticket (under-12s are exempt from showing photo ID).

Please Note: Mobile Season Ticket passes will be emailed to the email address held on season ticket holder's account prior to the first home league game in front of full crowds.

Refunds for unused credit balances will be made on 1st June 2021. Refunds will be processed back to the card or bank account that was used to pay for the season ticket. Please note this refund may take up to 5 working days to appear in your account.

If you pay by DD, your credit balance will automatically be taken off the cost of your season ticket renewal.

If you pay by monthly DD your credit balance will be used for your April-June payments, any remaining money that needs to be paid will be spread across 9 monthly payments from July 2021 to March 2022.

If you pay by annual DD any remaining money that is due to be paid will be taken on 1st July 2021.

If you pay in one upfront payment by credit/debit card your season ticket will automatically be renewed if the full value of your season ticket is covered by your credit balance.

If you paid by credit/debit card and additional money is owed for renewal then you must take action to renew, you can do this online and pay partially with your credit balance and the rest by credit/debit card.

As a club we guarantee that we will not charge any supporters for matches you are unable to attend due to COVID-restricted capacities/behind-close-door matches. We will endeavour to stop monthly DD payments early if it is clear supporters will not see a full season of matches, and will offer opportunity for refunds or credit being rolled in to the following season's renewal.

The same process that was in place for the 20/21 season will operate. For full details please see the 'return of supporters' section on the ticket site.

We expect the ID requirements that were in place for 20/21 to continue for the foreseeable future. For those who are unaware, all supporters had to show photo ID to match their named season ticket on arrival at the stadium. This was in line with the government test and trace system, which meant we must ensure those registered to attend matches are the ones who come, and that tickets are not passed to unknown third parties.

We recognise that in these uncertain times supporters need more flexibility than ever, therefore for the 21/22 season we are introducing season ticket sharing. For a fee of £20 STHs can opt to share their ST with MyAlbion+ members. The system will work online and allow STHs to login and to forward one of their ST seats for a game to a paid MyAlbion+ member. This will deactivate the season ticket and forward a new ticket to the registered member. It should be noted that the ticket will be forwarded at the original age band, e.g., if you have a senior season ticket this will be forwarded as a senior match ticket.

Please note this system will only operate at full capacity, it will not be available if a ballot system is in place. For the 2021/22 season, ticket sharing will be available for all home league matches. Restrictions may apply for future seasons. Is the person attending the same age band as you, or an age band which is cheaper / the same price as your ticket?

  • YES
    • If the ticket is going to a MyAlbion+ member who is the same age band, or a cheaper age band, then you should use season ticket sharing.
    • Adults may share with any age group. 65+/U21 may share with U10, U18, U21s or over 65. U18s may share with U18 or U10. U10s may share with U10. The recipients must be MyAlbion+ members.
    • The STH needs to pay £20 to upgrade to a sharing season ticket. Wait one hour and the permission will be added to the STHs online account.
    • Once permission has been added season tickets can be shared with friends/family members but they must be a signed and paid-up member of MyAlbion+. The ticket will be sent to the new owner automatically, so please ensure their email address is up to date on our system.
  • NO
    • If the ticket is going to someone who is a more expensive ageband (e.g., junior ticket to adult, U10 to U18, 65+ to adult) then the season ticket needs to be upgraded.
    • Upgrades are charged at the price of the match ticket minus the pro rata value of the season ticket.
    • You can login online and upgrade your ticket and pay the difference. You must provide the details of the person attending as these will be printed on the new ticket you are sent. You must then forward this ticket on to the person using it.
