Return Of Fans

Ticketing for return of fans matches

Following confirmation Premier League clubs will be able to play the final two match rounds in front of fans, approximately 7,900 tickets will be made available to Albion season-ticket holders and 1901 Club members for our fixture against Manchester City.

Please read the following information thoroughly as it contains important details about purchasing tickets for this match.

We would also like to reassure supporters that we will be implementing a wide range of measures to protect supporters' health and safety at the stadium.

Overview of Ticketing Process

  • Ballot drawn for individuals and groups and priority booking window allocated
  • Supporter selects their seat during their allocated priority booking window
  • Ticket is created and added either to the supporter's Google Pay/Apple Wallet OR emailed as a print-at-home ticket (NB the North Stand tickets will be mobile tickets (Google/Apple Wallet only. If you fdo not have a smart phone do not select tickets in the North Stand).

The full details of each of these stages follows, we advise you read thoroughly.

Seating and capacities
The government has advised that a 25% capacity will be permitted at the Amex. Seating will be sold on a socially distanced basis - most areas have only single seats, but in some areas pairs of seats together will be available. Note that if you select a pair of seats these should be for two people from the same household/bubble. If you have purchased a pair of tickets and cannot attend then both tickets will need to be listed on the exchange. The seating areas open are detailed below:

Allocating Tickets for Reduced Capacity Matches

Any league matches at the Amex Stadium which are at a reduced capacity will be allocated through a ballot system.

Season ticket holders and 1901 Club members have the opportunity to opt into a grouping ballot. This grouping ballot will inform the club of who you wish to attend matches with:

  • supporters may select up to 5 fan numbers in their group
  • supporters may only be part of one group
  • supporters who do not enter this grouping ballot will be assumed to wish to attend matches alone
  • 1901 Club members who hold multiple tickets in one company name will be grouped together, to a maximum group of 5 seats
  • 1901 Club members wishing to attend with other 1901 Club members or Season Ticket Holders must enter the grouping ballot
  • You must have joined the grouping ballot at least 5 days prior to the game going on sale in order to be drawn out with your group.

Please note that applying together in the grouping ballot DOES NOT mean you need to sit with each other as you will select your seats at a later stage.

A random ballot will be drawn before the match goes on sale. This ballot will allocate Season Ticket Holders a random priority purchase window, detailing a date and time to go online and select seats.

Tickets will be allocated down the priority windows until all available stadium seats are full. General admission season ticket holders will have the opportunity to go online and claim a ticket within the general admission seating areas or 1901 club areas. 1901 Club members will have the choice of 1901 Club seating.

1901 Club members will be given a 'credit balance' reflecting the money they have paid for their 2020/21 season ticket and when claiming a ticket through the ballot, the amount will come off this credit balance. Please note the credit balance facility will not be available to general admission season ticket holders as credit has either been used against the renewal of the season ticket, or is in the process of being refunded for 1st June, therefore payment will need to be made by credit/debit card.

With reduced capacity matches and the amended seating plan for social distancing (meeting government and safety authority requirements), it is highly unlikely you will be able to purchase your own seat and it may not always be possible to find seats together for your group. We hope by offering you a range of seating options you will find something suitable.

The Ticket Exchange

The ticket exchange will open for every home league match once the ballot and seating allocation process has been completed. Season ticket holders and 1901 Club members will have the exclusive window to purchase tickets listed on the exchange first and these prices will be set at the pro rata adult price. 1901 Club members and general admission season ticket holders may purchase in all areas of the stadium. Please note that payment for tickets through the exchange must be made by credit/debit card and the credit balance facility will not be available.

After the season ticket and 1901 Club window, the last 4 days prior to the match any remaining tickets on the ticket exchange will be available to MyAlbion+ members. At this point all the tickets on the exchange will move to adult match ticket prices.

Supporters who successfully sell tickets on the ticket exchange will be refunded back to their nominated bank account rather than back to the credit balance.

If you have purchased a pair of adjacent seats and cannot attend then both tickets will need to be listed on the exchange. You cannot list one seat from an adjacent pair.

Mobile Ticketing (Google/Apple Wallet)

We have installed new readers at our turnstiles to enable tickets to be scanned directly from mobile phones.

Season ticket holders will enter the stadium using the ticket that will be stored on their mobile phone in Google/Apple wallet, or alternatively by opting for a print-at-home ticket. 1901 Members and disabled supporters' personal assistants will only have the option of print-at-home due to the guest name that must be provided at the time of booking. Please note that no printed tickets will be despatched by the club.

This change has been made in line with government advice to reduce physical touchpoints, reduce the passing on of tickets through the black-market and to ensure compliance with the government Test and Trace scheme.

The club have produced a useful video guide for using mobile ticketing which we advise all supporters to watch.

For more details about how to use Mobile Tickets please click here.

Transferring Tickets

Supporters are advised that in line with the governments Test and Trace scheme it will be essential that only the named ticket holder attends the match and the passing on of tickets will be strictly prohibited. Photographic ID will be required on matchday to match the name on the match ticket. Only under 12s attending with a parent/guardian will not be required to bring photographic ID.

1901 Club members will also be required to provide the name, email address and phone number for each individual ticket owner when claiming their tickets. Disabled supporters will be required to do the same for their personal assistants.

Allocating Tickets for Cup Games

General admission and 1901 Club tickets will be sold by using loyalty points for cup games.

Loyalty Points

Whilst the stadium capacity remains at a restricted level, loyalty points will be frozen and will only be introduced again once stadium capacity returns to 100%.

FAQS – Ballot & Ticket Sales

If you entered a ballot group with friends & family last year you will with the same friends & family for this game.To find your ballot priority window please go to http://bhafc.club/tickets and sign in to your MyAlbion account. If the match does not sell out to Season Ticket Holders, remaining tickets will be released to MyAlbion+ members at a later date.

Any season ticket holder who did not enter the grouping ballot will be presumed to be happy to enter the ballot alone. Under-12s who do not enter the grouping ballot will be grouped with an adult associated on their ticketing account. 1901 members who do not enter the grouping ballot will also be presumed to be happy to be entered alone unless they hold multiple seat licences in one company name, in which case these will be grouped together in groups of up to five.

All season ticket holders and 1901 Club members will automatically be entered into the match ballot. We will draw supporters out of the ballot and provide you with a random priority on-sale window. If you are selected in the first on-sale window you will be guaranteed a ticket as long as you select a seat within your initial priority period. Subject to availability, tickets will then continue to go on sale down the priority windows until the game is sold out. Supporters are advised to login, and check the ballots information page to understand your on sale window (please refer to the on sale dates for when ballot groups will be announced)

You will be given a date and time when you can log in to the online seating plan and select your preferred seats for the game. As a season ticket holder, you may purchase any seats in any general admission seating area. 1901 Club members may purchase within the 1901 Club seating areas. All tickets are subject to availability and only the first priority on-sale window is guaranteed a ticket (if booked within that priority window).

With reduced capacities it may not be possible for you to find seats in your first-choice seating location.

You may opt to purchase in cheaper or more expensive seating areas, you will be charged the pro rata ticket price in that area.

If you do not feel confident attending matches at the Amex yet, you do not have to purchase in your priority window. However please note once the government confirm the stadium can open to full capacity you will at that point be allocated your season ticket seat for each game and charged accordingly.

The ticket exchange will be open to every supporter who has a ticket once the game sells out. Tickets will be priced at the adult pro rata season ticket/1901 Club price of the seat, until the game goes on sale to members, at which time the exchange price will be set at the adult match ticket price. Season ticket holders and members who successfully sell their ticket through the exchange will be refunded the price they paid for the ticket minus a £1 selling fee. Money will be refunded back to the supporter's nominated bank account. Please note that tickets bought on the exchange must be paid for by card and cannot be paid using a credit balance. If you have purchased a pair of adjacent seats and cannot attend then both tickets will need to be listed on the exchange. You cannot list one seat from an adjacent pair.
